    Rob Lücker is known for his beautiful image compositions and his deadpan humor in both his films and commercials. It is because of this specific style that agencies keep seeking him out. His fascination for film was born out of obsessing over James Bond movies and Sergio Leone westerns. He started at the Utrecht School of Arts where HazazaH picked up on his talent and offered to collaborate on his award winning graduation film Skoda. Rob joined the HazazaH roster of directors and sank his teeth into directing various successful commercials for brands including Albert Heijn, Delta Lloyd, De Bijenkorf and SP. His short film Das Wad (Hazazah Pictures) won a Gouden Kalf for best short film at NFF 2014.

    Ahmet Polat is a photographer whose work is connected to his habit of drawing. Motivated to capture the unexpected, the quality of his work has earned the deserved respect of serious critique. Since graduating from art school Ahmet has exhibited, lectured and published prolifically, ranking the NY Times, French and Turkish Vogue, the Istanbul Modern, the Rijksmuseum and FOAM among his clients. Born of a Dutch mother and Turkish father, Ahmet integrates both cultures in everything he does.

    Paul Postma /
    motion design director

    Concept and content are central to Postma's work. Always looking at the bigger picture with a profound eye for detail. His career started in 1988 as co-founder (with Jacques Koeweiden) of the renowned and multiple award winning design company Koeweiden Postma. In 2004 Paul left Koeweiden Postma to start a new company; Postma / Graphics and Motion;  also becoming a successful and multiple award winning design agency specializing in motion design and film direction.
    In 2010 Postma | Graphics and Motion won an D&AD (London), a golden European Design Award, a Dutch Design Award and an ADCN Award for the film Stripes for Stamps. That same year his Big Bank Theory commercial won a European Design Award.

    Marije Kuiper completed her Design Bachelor at the Academy for Pop Culture in Leeuwarden, NL. Her graduation project Vinkega, a photography book of portraits about her native town, quickly sold out. Central to Marije's photographs are people and their personal stories set against their surroundings. Focusing on tell-tale details, she highlights the uniqueness of each subject. Her easygoing attitude is an asset when it comes to putting her subjects at ease.
    Marije works internationally on commissioned as well as personal projects with clients including Albert Heijn, De Friesland Zorgverzerkeraar and IKEA. Together with filmmaker Bas Berkhout she founded the beautiful Like Knows Like project, which took her all over the world making short, personal documentaries of creatives that are famous on internet.

    Lisette Donkersloot /

    The Amsterdam based director Lisette Donkersloot studied Lifestyle & Design at the Art Academy Rotterdam, but decided to become a filmmaker instead. Being an autodidact she taught herself the job and created her recognizable visual style along the way which can be best described as feminine, sensual, stylistic and with a touch of surrealism. She started off with making music videos for a friend all by herself which eventually led to projects for internationally acclaimed Dutch artists like Mr. Probz, Afrojack and Yellow Claw. Her graduation film How to Remove a Bloodstain was shown at the Dutch Film Festival 2015 in Utrecht. Beside shorts and music videos she's currently focusing on commercials.

    Victor Vroegindeweij is something of a documentary powerhouse. A curious observer who is ‘never not working’, Victor collects stories wherever he goes. His diverse array of documentaries and television productions covers subjects ranging from controvertial Christians to cage fighters and from the lives of public transport workers to poets, superstar musicians and famed architects. His latest commercial project is a documentary style online film and commercial for XS4All that follows the journey of the internet across the Atlantic.
    Victor joined our roster of directors while collaborating on a film with Hazazah Pictures. He quickly won us over as a natural storyteller with a distinctly cinematic style. He has an eye for photographic framing, which he combines with a strong musical sensitivity to breathe life into an atmosphere.

    David-Jan Bronsgeest /

    Director David-Jan Bronsgeest (1986) graduated from the Film Actors Academy Amsterdam in 2007, after which he studied Theatrical Performance at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts. This is where he discovered his love for directing. In 2011 David-Jan got into the Netherlands Film Academy's Directing Fiction programme with his Arabic-language short film Metis. The year after his documentary Her Cinema Love was screened at Hot Docs (Toronto), where it received a nomination for Best Short Documentary, and Visions du Réel (Nyon), where David-Jan was nominated as Best Newcomer. His third-year short at the Netherlands Film Academy, the romantic thriller Blindrunners (2014), was selected for Go Short International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, the Dutch VERS Awards, and the Canadian Festival International du Court-Métrage en Outaouais 2015. David-Jan interned at Talent United, where he studied the Dutch commercial cinema.

    Krijn van Noordwijk is best known for his portrait work, which combines classic aesthetics with a contemporary view on people and their emotions. Critics have compared his search for iconic imagery with the work of Annie Leibovitz and Carl Fischer. Krijn started out as a successful art director until he surprised the industry by leaving his own agency and becoming a photographer. A decision fittingly made overnight, he got his first assignment the first morning of his new career. Krijn now also works as a commercial director, and his SP film Home Care has earned him a Gouden Loekie for commercial of the year.

    Tomas Kaan studied history in Amsterdam and Berlin before embarking upon filmmaking. His work is characterized by an outspoken visual style that walks the line between documentary and fiction. To him, filmmaking is a way to preserve the time we live in, not unlike the preservation of things in a laboratory. He has a soft spot for experimental films and his all time favourite book is J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye. His films have been shown at film festivals all over the world and have won multiple awards.

    Belgian duo Hans Vercauter & Francois Mercier had already been working together for quite some time when in 2013 they decided to focus exclusively on cinematic storytelling. Naming their directing duo after the legendary HELVETICA font was no coincidence. Like the font, their aim is to capture timeless beauty in their films.
    Hans & Francois love to collaborate, think and rethink a campaign from the earliest stages of the creative process. Focusing on poetic human emotions told with a surreal twist, their films feel classic and modern at the same time.

    Nanno Jiskoot started his fimmaking career three years after graduating in Psychology. His work is subscribes as authentic and poetic and showcases powerful themes from an inclusive point of view. In 2011 he won the Holland Doc Award for his first documentary 'Gaaf Zijn' at the Netherlands Film Festival, and his documentary 'Peace Beyond Borders' was nominated for Best Documentary on Peace. His latest work 'We Are Who We Become', which focuses on young people in Africa finding inner strength through sports, earned him at ADCN nomination 2015 for best Film Direction and a Young Director Award in Cannes.

    Arjan Benning is a sought after, multiple award-winning photographer, who is commissioned by a growing list of national and international advertising agencies, cultural institutions, museums and magazines. Arjan's career began in 1999 when he started working for the legendary Anthon Beeke. Taken by Arjan's awarded and pioneering images of moving photography, Yani spotted his talent in 2006 and asked him to join Hazazah. Pushing the limits of authenticity and amazement, Arjan selectively stages his photography, allowing the elements in a picture to come alive beyond control. Creating images in which form features as content, his curiosity and persistence have made him the creative that he is today.

    Danielle van Ark first thought about becoming a photographer flipping through music magazines, staring at portraits of musicians when she was a teenager. Since graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Art academy, Danielle has been busy working as a freelance photographer for a variety of magazines. Her work has been exhibited in the Museum of the City of New York, Foam Amsterdam and Helmut Newton Gallery in Berlin. Her personal work is dominated by transience and social status. Her main inspiration in her own words is “Shooting places that are not meant to be ‘seen’ in the way I shoot them.” Aside from working as a freelance photographer, she is currently also a resident at the renowned Rijksacademie for fine arts in Amsterdam.

    Bram is an Amsterdam-based director, working for global clients, like Grolsch, K-Swiss, A1 Telecom, Ikea and Kaufland. He graduated both the Ad-school and the Media Art Academy of Utrecht, creating a strong design background for his way of directing film. Bram's advertisement work is known for a cinematic approach of his observation on human life. His uncommissioned work combines a poetic realism with street-photography, which results in mini-documentaires like "The Cage" or "City of Amsterdam". Mood, emotion and hints of surrealism mixed with an underlying story are key to him... As well as his morning double-espresso's, but that's something else.
