WALZER is a short suspense film driven by an untempered soundtrack. Three scrap metal pikeys are gathering material from the basements of an old building. When one of them discovers a valuable treasure he decides to keep it to himself. From that moment the vagabonds move around in a choreography of suspicion, greed and sabotage.

Rob Lücker
Director Rob Lücker’s love for film started with his obsession over James Bond movies and Sergio Leone westerns. This early passion led him to become a versatile director, excelling in all types of comedy, ranging from comic and dry humor to dark comedy and absurdism. Rob’s strong visual style shines through in his successful projects for well-known brands such as Bol, Duyvis, Coolbest, Espn, McDonald’s, BEN, VWS Leefstijl and Bolletje. His ability to mix humor with eye-catching visuals makes his work stand out in the industry. In addition to commercials, Rob directed the popular series “Seven Little Criminals,” showing his expertise in storytelling. His remarkable achievements earned him two prestigious Golden Calfs, the highest honers in Dutch film, for Das Wad (Best Short 2014) and Seven Little Criminals (Best Series 2019).
