Panthology - Yani

An intimate film where a man gets confronted with the basic ingredients for bread and ends up in a sensual ‘fight’ with these elements.

An art piece made for De Kunst van Brood (‘The Art of Bread’), which was initiated by Bake Five, (a cooperative of bakeries), that wanted to inform the public about the beauty of bread. Nine artists were asked to visualize their view on bread – among them: Yani, Claudy Jongstra – Artist of the Year (2019), Atelier van Lieshout and Ugandan artist Bruno Ruganzu.
