Paul Postma
Concept and content are at the heart of Paul Postma’s work. He always looks at the bigger picture while maintaining a profound eye for detail. His career began in 1988 as co-founder (alongside Jacques Koeweiden) of the renowned, award-winning design company Koeweiden Postma. In 2004, Paul ventured out to start his own company, Postma / Graphics and Motion, which quickly became a successful, multiple award-winning design agency specializing in motion design and film direction.
In 2010, Postma | Graphics and Motion garnered prestigious accolades, including a D&AD Award (London), a Gold European Design Award, a Dutch Design Award, and an ADCN Award for the film Stripes for Stamps. That same year, his Big Bank Theory commercial won another European Design Award.
Paul’s creative versatility is evident in his work, including his recent collaboration on Mama Asia, which has been praised for its distinct storytelling and visual style. Whether working on film direction, motion design, or brand identity, Paul continues to push creative boundaries, earning recognition from clients and colleagues.
